Project: Energy Cube

For measurement of energy.

Scope of work:

• Design, detail and Manufacture.

Client spec. :

• A low friction spinning plastic disc inside a stable plastic base.
• The base needs to be as solid as possible, minimal cavities.
• I need the spinning disc to sit on a drive shaft and gear box made of plastic or aluminium with exit wires. (photo attached)
• Estimate size of the entire unit 500mmx500mmx500mm cube.
• Both spinning disc and base need to have holes with a 13mm diameter and 27mm depth, all at level and at a 30degree angle. Spacings of approximately 20mm for Unit 1 for both base and spinning disc. Spacings of approximately 30mm for Unit 2 for both base and spinning disc.
• The spinning disc needs to be removable.
• The void between the spinning disc and the base needs to be 20mm.

Project: Boat Anchor (Anti-Drift).

Scope of work:

• A Turnkey machine for a client.
• 3D modelled using INVENTOR software - Designed, detailed, project management, all parts manufactured by suppliers & some inhouse machining, assembly of machine and commissioning.
